HOW YOU CAN HELP
The community of women touched by cancer, medical professionals and complementary health-care providers are free to suggest ideas or programs that would enhance our retreat programing.
Any professionals that feel inspired about supporting women touched by cancer and would like to contribute their services, please contact Joan Salat,LCSW to share you thoughts and ideas. We would like to develop a wonderful network of community support including lay and professional volunteers to give the women at MRW an intimate, nurturing and transformational experience.
We are researching all of our options within means to seek out funding through scholarship donations, group sponsorships, grants and possibly an affiliative status with a non-profit organization. In consulting our corporate attorney, it will take time and program development with an established history to make it worth the expense of obtaining a non-profit status. All contributions of scholarship funds, donated items and services will will be used responsibly and for the sole purpose of serving the women who attend retreats. With permission, donors will be acknowledged on this website, anonymous donors can expect confidentially. Receipts will be provided for all gifts but not under the status of a non-profit corp.
