ACCESSING INNER HEALING

A 4-day retreat for any woman that has been touched by cancer, recently or years ago.
Coming Spring 2011

When cancer touches our lives, it can move us into an unfamiliar and frightening tailspin. When the dust settles, we can use the cancer experience to transform our lives in ways previously unknown to us. Cancer can provide a window into the soul if we look in the right direction. A deep sense of multiple losses can be transformed into enlightened self- discoveries about the Truth, Beauty and Wisdom that we hold inside. Everything that we need to heal is already present within us. Being "touched" by cancer is an invitation to be reborn within ourselves moving through life with greater courage, joy and fulfillment.

This 4-day transformative retreat is a relaxing and playful process using guided imagery, bookmaking, collage and dialogue. No previous artistic experience is needed. The inner process of spiritual, emotional and physical healing can occur naturally through creative expression. This unique process allows the heart and soul to open up to healing and inner wisdom. Balancing out the personal creative expression, will be the ancient mind-body practice of specialized Qigong for women. The participants will leave with two "take home" healing gifts, a highly personalized creative project that will continue to reveal its healing message over time, and a daily healing practice of Qigong for women touched by cancer. The retreat is limited to 6-8 women to foster an intimate and supportive environment.
